Interested in our internship program?

Since its inception, The Silk Initiative has successfully maintained an internship program with students from various parts of the world including the UK, Europe and US.

As an intern you get exposure to a wide variety of commercial skills related to the consulting industry including desk research, analysis, report development, business development, event management assistance up to strategic business planning and commercial development activities. Our interns come to us with degrees in business and commerce and typically some level of industry experience already with a China focus.

Out intake cycle for the year follows Northern hemisphere school dates

Spring: January to June (3-6 months)
Summer: June to August/September (3 months)
Autumn: August/September to December (3-6 months)
Winter: December-January (6-8 weeks)

Tasks assigned depend largely on intern experience (undergraduate or post graduate qualifications). Where possible we try to match intern skills, and interests, with the commercial interests of The Silk Initiative.
